WHAT DOES YOUR COMPANY DO?
Swift Flag Repair cleans
and repairs US, Corporate, State and
virtually every flag that is made.
WHAT MAKES
YOU BETTER THAN YOUR COMPETITION?
Not only do we clean and repair US flags, but within the
past six
years we have added a new service, restoring old flags. You
would be
surprised how many people have either been given or have
found an old
flag abandon in their attic. Some were captured during WWII
and left
to a family member. Some people are collectors of old flags
that need
some attention. One flag that we restored was from N.Y. Port
authority and was dated 1928. We weave holes and sometimes
fill open
holes with a matched fabric and then weave.
The owner of Swift Flag Repair does the restorations of the
older
flags and loves doing it. She came up with the idea of
mounting the
restored flag to be framed or put in a custom made Shadow
Box. ?We
come as close as we can to bringing your flag back to it
original
state. I take my time with these flags and seldom have seen
one that
can?t be restored.?
We also were the first to suggest that when a customer has a
flag that
cannot be repaired due to the fact that it would become a
square, we
have suggested that we save it until they have another and
then we add
them together. Our large hotels use this method, because you
cannot
see the seam especially as it is being flown above a high
building.

FLAGS?
Auto Dealerships, Hotels, Casinos, Parks, Restaurants,
Schools and
Museums. We have a Government contract and service flags for
bases
and Government Buildings, both local and nationwide
CAN ANYONE SEND YOU A FLAG?
Anyone that has a flag in need of attention and has access
to a
computer and finds us on the web can either call, or fill
out the form
and tell us about their flag.
HOW DOES YOUR SERVICE WORK?. THE
PROCESS
Customers can call our office at

It's
best to
have the size when you call. We charge according to size of
flag.
Most older flag restorations need to be seen, however,
before a quote
is give. Customers who send the older flags need to enclose
all their
information inside, name, address, phone number and e-mail.
Before we
start the project, we call to give a price and an e-mail
confirmation
is sent for your approval. We schedule your flag return
according to
when we receive it. 3-4 business day is the normal for all
flags
except the older restorations.
At time of approval of these flags, you will be given a
month when we
will start your flag and an approximate time for the return
shipping.
Starting in January 2012 a deposit will be required for all
older
flags. Balance due before return of flag.
We take Checks, PayPal or
for companies it can be set up on a 30 day account.
HOW MANY FLAGS DO YOU REPAIR A
YEAR?
Approximately 2000 flags are done each year and probably
more. We are fortunate to have one customer send us 10
flags a week for restoration.
HOW MANY LOCATIONS DO YOU HAVE?
We base out the Reno Nevada area. We started here in 1987,
but for a
time moved our offices to Las Vegas.
We service flags in all 50 states and it's fun filling up my
large
United States flag with little red pins showing all the
places we have
offered this service.
We strive to give the best service to our customers and the
response
have been very good. Before there was a Swift Flag Repair
people did
not know what to do with their old flags. The credit and
thanks goes
to my late sister, Pamela Swift who started the business in
Arizona in
1976. She urged me for years to learn this trade and said it
would be
great for my retirement............and she was right.
